The Mii Gunner is a Mii character, which means that you will have the option to choose between three special attacks for each special attack. Since the Mii Shooter is a character that is mainly played as a zoner, it is recommended for you to choose the third attack each time, which is optimal for camping and especially for coming back from offstage more easily. The Side B can though be modified if you wish, as the other options are just as interesting.

Best moves

  • NEUTRAL B N°3

The grenade remains active for a very long time. To tell you, on a shield, it leaves you 10 Frames to act. The Neutral B also allows you to throw a lot of low % combos and is particularly useful in a ledgetrap situation since it covers almost all of your enemy's options, except the roll.

  • NEUTRAL AIR

It is the character's only tool for repelling an opponent in close combat, especially in the air, since an enemy's aerila approach will usually be very difficult to counter, making of the Neutral Air an essential tool in the Mii Gunner's arsenal.

  • DOWN B N°3

The magnet allows you to come back from very far if you combine it with a Forward Air and it can also be used while attacking in order to gimp your opponent at 0% offstage. If you are in a disadvantageous situation as in ledgetrap it is also particularly useful to get out of it thanks to an advanced technique.

  • UP B N°3

This is an excellent recovery option because with this Up B, the character can come back from anywhere. Since you can orientate it, it is very interesting to vary its recovery but also when you are at the ledge to correctly replace yourself.

    Cupheadshot

The Mii Gunner's grenade is a very interesting projectile that offers many advantageous situations. However, you should be careful not to overuse it, especially in close combat, as it is an attack that can be easily punishable, the opponent simply having to jump over it to punish you violently.

    Chibi-Robo

The Mii Gunner is a character who needs you to space well and to keep a respectable distance from your opponent. However, this is not a heavyweight character, and it's important to be careful not to get stuck on the field's edge or else you'll die at 30% by a powerful attack. So remember to always keep moving.

    A good sansation

The Mii Gunner is a fun character that is easy to learn and that can teach you a lot about spacing and camping. Besides, he doesn't have any complex techniques, and you mainly have to master how to reverse his Forward Air and his Down B in order to come back from further away and to land safely on stage.

    In a nutshell

By playing the Mii Gunner, pleasure will come from the fact that the character has a lot of costumes that have been added as DLCs helping people to want to play the character. The release of Cuphead's costume is one of the reasons why Vitch started taking the character by instance. Beyond that, it's a very interesting character to take on to learn the basics of camping and spacing, which can be very interesting for a lot of characters. Also, the character is pretty easy to learn and is interesting against some characters which can make him interesting to play against some in tournaments.
