Rosalina has a characteristic on her own because she can rely on her Luma she can send and let act at distance ! This gives her a great ability to defend herself and to surprise an opponent who would tend to forget the existence of her Luma.

Rosalina has the ability to send a star at distance to fight and to protect her. This Luma can thus be sent more or less far by pressing Neutral B for more or less time and has 40 health points. If you kill the Luma, a new one will come after 10 seconds if you fight in 1v1. Regarding this Luma, there are some advanced techniques such as the lunar landing which consists in canceling a Rosalina's aerial attack while carrying out the Luma's attack, which will cancel any landing lag and allow you to directly act to follow the Luma's attack with a grab or something else. Note that the Luma can also be desynchronized like for the Ice Climbers.

Best moves

  • FORWARD SMASH AND UP SMASH

    Rosalina doesn't have many moves that can easily kill her opponents, but these Smash attacks are really interesting. In addition to cause a lot of damage and to eject the opponent well, the Up Smash and the Forward Smash have a great range, allowing you to stay relatively safe for a Smash attack.

  • NEUTRAL AIR

    It is a disjoint attack, so Rosalina will not suffer any damage if she receives a hit on her attack and not on her body. It is therefore a significant advantage. Beyond that, it is a move that is used to start combos and is clearly an essential move in the character's neutral.

  • UP AIR
